Prefrontal Vortex
Game
You are a swarm of alien microorganisms infiltrating the human body.
You have but one goal: Complete and utter domination of the mind.
In this roguelite deckbuilder, you play as infectious microbes in a struggle against the body's immune system. Duplicate cards through mitosis, gain momentum in battle, and defeat white blood cells in order take control of the frontal lobe.
How to Play
There are two types of cards in the game: cell cards and action cards. They are easy to tell apart because cell cards display base attack in the bottom left corner and max health in the bottom right corner, while action cards only display their fuel cost in the top left.
To play a cell card, drag it from your hand into any of the six spaces on the left-hand side of the board (the right-hand side is reserved for the immune cells you will be facing). Once a cell is placed, it can begin taking actions on its next turn.
If you see an attack icon over one of your cells, you can attack an immune cell on the same row by clicking on your cell, holding the mouse down, and dragging the cursor over the enemy. You also have the option of dragging over an adjacent empty tile in order to move to that space.
Keep in mind that even if you still have cell cards in your deck, if you ever end your turn without any cells placed on the board, you lose the battle. Since this is a roguelite, if you lose one battle you lose your entire run and must start over.
